This all sounds great but what if….

....I don't like the meals or have a food allergy?

The meal plan is very comprehensive and varied. It is

  • sugar free
  • low in dairy
  •  nutrient dense
  • alcohol free
  • caffeine free

It is based on the ‘real food’ principles, so nothing very fancy and ingredients are all readily available locally .

I don’t expect anyone to love everything but I am sure you will love enough to get the variety you need. Swaps are fine within the plan. Each meal is nutritionally balanced so ideally you will swap like for like, i.e. one fish dish for another fish dish.

You can drop me a note regarding any food allergies or intolerances you may have an we can work out suitable substitutes. Gluten free products are definitely an area you need to be very careful with. In removing the gluten, there can be undesirable substitutions included which make infertility worse.

....we want to do PGT testing?

Embryo quality (PGT) testing is a sensible step when there has been a history of failed treatments.

IVF intense preparation will help you to optimize sperm and egg health so that your embryos are more likely to develop normally.

The earlier you start the process the more effective it can be. There will be a time lag after egg collection until you get PGT results. You can utilise the Two Week Wait bonus meal plan after your results, when you do your embryo transfer.

....we are a same sex couple?

Even when using donor sperm, there is opportunity to optimize the success of your IVF.

Both egg quality and the mother’s nutritional status matter, and that may include both of you, if you are doing reciprocal IVF.

Your path to and through parenthood will be a team effort. This is where it starts. Optimising your fertility prior to IVF can improve the outcome first time.

....I have low AMH?

Statistically there is no difference between time to pregnancy for low AMH and standard AMH when trying to conceive naturally.

By optimizing your fertility health, underlying issues which may be inhibiting a natural conception can be improved, supporting successful IVF first time.

....there is male factor infertility?

Male fertility factors effects 50% of all fertility issues.

Sperm health is extremely susceptible to environmental factors.

By working together to to optimize sperm health and egg quality in advance of your ICSI procedure, you will be confident of not only improving your chances of success but also positively influencing the long term health of your offspring.

....we are doing a frozen embryo transfer (FET)?

When your embryos are already made there is no opportunity to influence the genetic instruction, however the mother’s nutritional status can be optimized for implantation and successful development of the pregnancy.

Pregnancy is a marathon rather than a sprint, having resources available is crucial to it’s success.
